My Chemical Romance "very supportive of each other's solo projects"

My Chemical Romance may have stopped releasing music as a group, but this doesn't mean they're not still close.

The band's guitarist Ray Toro recently spoke to BANG Showbiz about his friendships with other members Gerard Way, Frank Iero and Mikey Way and confessed that it's exciting to keep up with their individual projects and ambitions:

"We are very supportive of each other's solo projects. That is one of the great things we are still close friends and close family. We all keep an eye, even if we are not in touch with each other everyday, we all know what all the other guys are up to."

He went onto add that he is "proud" of the other musicians that were in the band and it's liberating to now hae the freedom to explore other avenues musically: "For me, I am musically a fan of what the other guys are capable of. I am just really proud to see everyone go off in their own directions and explore musically things that they weren't able to explore in the past. So that is really exciting to see."

MCR got fans excited last autumn after sharing a mysterious teaser video online and rumours of a possible reunion tour quickly swirled, but it was later revealed to be a reissue of their album 'The Black Parade'.
