The Latin AMAs 2017 to receive special digital coverage - Camila Cabello & Fifth Harmony to perform


TELEMUNDO UNVEILS SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND INTERACTIVE DIGITAL COVERAGE SURROUNDING THE “LATIN AMAs” THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26 AT 8PM/7C ON TELEMUNDO

Telemundo will feature special on-air programming and enhanced interactive coverage of the third annual “Latin American Music Awards” (Latin AMAs) with two TV specials and digital coverage across various platforms. Showcasing the fashionable and glamorous arrival of the stars on the red carpet at the iconic Hollywood Boulevard, “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” will broadcast Thursday, October 26 live at 8pm/7c. After the Ceremony, at 11:35pm/10:35c, viewers will be treated to “Latin AMAs: Acceso VIP,” which will feature a unique behind-the-scenes look of the awards show. Produced by Telemundo and Somos Productions, the “Latin American Music Awards” will broadcast live on Telemundo Thursday, October 26 at 9pm/8c, from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

The digital coverage will include a Facebook Live “Behind the Scenes” featuring the best of rehearsals at 3pm EST. An ambitious multiplatform live stream on Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Twitter Live will take place from 7:30pm to 9pm EST with the best of the red carpet, followed at 9pm EST by another multiplatform live stream showcasing the best of the behind-the-scenes, winners’ reactions and celebrity interviews. Finally, another Facebook Live “Post Awards Experience” will take place on Friday, October 27 at 3pm EST.

Hosted by TV personalities Rashel Diaz (Un Nuevo Dia), Jorge Bernal (Suelta La Sopa), Jessica Carrillo (Don Francisco Te Invita/Al Rojo Vivo) and Quique Usales (Al Rojo Vivo), “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” is a one-hour special that offers viewers the opportunity to see their favorite artists and celebrities as they walk down the red carpet on the legendary Hollywood Boulevard, leading up to the main event. With dynamic interviews and lots of fashion, the show will broadcast live on October 26 at 8pm/7c.

The post awards live special “Latin AMA’s: Acceso VIP” will be hosted by TV personalities Jessica CarrilloElva Saray (Acceso Total on Telemundo 52), Ana Jurka (Titulares y Mas) and Quique Usales (Al Rojo Vivo). Telemundo viewers will have a VIP pass to watch what happened behind the scenes during the “Latin AMAs.” Viewers will see exclusive interviews with winners and performers; as well as candid moments and surprise reactions not seen during the awards telecast. “Latin AMA’s: Acceso VIP” will air on Thursday, October 26 following the awards ceremony at 11:35pm/10:35c.

Facebook Live broadcasts on Thursday, October 26 at 3pm EST. Hosted by influencer and TV personality Christian Acosta, the program will feature the best of rehearsals, including interviews as the artists step off the stage.

The multiplatform live stream from Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Twitter Live on Thursday, October 26 from 7:30pm to 9pm EST will be hosted by influencers Christian AcostaSibley Scoles from E! , and actress and TV host Zuleyka Rivera, featuring the best and the most exciting moments from the carpet.

At 9pm EST another multiplatform live stream from Facebook Live, YouTube Live and Twitter Live from backstage will showcase the best from behind-the-scenes, winners’ reactions and celebrity interviews while enjoying a night of music.

In addition, the night’s special guest influencers, including Amanda Cerny, David Lopez, Eva Luna, Lauren Giraldo and Mariale Marrero, will have exclusive access to share their experience of this star-studded night through various platforms. 

On Friday, October 27th at 3pm EST a new Facebook Live “Post Awards Experience” will recap the best moments, red carpet interviews and fashion and exclusive content from the awards ceremony.

The 2017 Latin AMA’s will be hosted by Becky G and Diego Boneta. The event will feature performances by Abraham MateoAlejandra Guzman, Angeles, Bacilos, Bad Bunny, Banda MS, Becky G, Camila Cabello, Chayanne, Chiquis Rivera, Christian Nodal, Fifth Harmony, Gente de Zona, Gloria Trevi, Jesse & Joy, Manuel Medrano, Natalia Jimenez, Pablo Alboran, Pitbull, Prince Royce, and Wisin.
