Nathan Sykes has confirmed a series of UK tour dates.

The former Wanted singer will hit the road for six shows in April.

The run, which comes in support of Sykes' upcoming debut album, will kick off at Glasgow's ABC2 on April 8.

There will be dates in Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton before the jaunt concludes in London.

The final date will take place at the city's Bush Hall on April 15.

Sykes wrote on Twitter today (March 10): "I couldn't wait to share some tracks off my debut album with you and there isn't a better way of doing that than LIVE!!!"

Tickets for the shows will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (March 13).
