Nathan Sykes on solo career: 'I was too young to give up on my dream'

Heartthrob Nathan Sykes has revealed that pursuing a solo career outside of his band was never a goal, but once The Wanted parted ways he felt as if he was 'too young' to quit doing what he loved.

Speaking to E! News during an interview at L.A.'s The Grove recently, the talented star explained that while he never sought out a solo career, everything seemed to just fall into place for him once The Wanted decided to call it quits:

"We did say it was just going to be a break and I was like ‘What am I going to do?' and I was like 'OK, I'm gonna do what I love because I'm far too young to stop doing what I absolutely adore doing. So I was like, 'OK, I'm going to go into the studio and see what happens' and the music was really strong—we found a sound really quickly."

When the 'More Than You'll Ever Know' sensation was asked if he keeps in touch with the other members of The Wanted, he added that it's tough with their conflicting schedules: "Everyone's very busy so maybe not as much as I like, but everyone's really working hard and it's really good to see."
