Nathan Sykes tops US Billboard chart with debut single 'Kiss Me Quick'

Singer Nathan Sykes has landed his first U.S. solo Number 1 single with his exciting debut single, 'Kiss Me Quick'.

The heartthrob shot into the top spot on the Billboard Dance Club Chart with the impressive track and he is now gearing up to release his highly anticipated full solo album, which features collaborations with Harmony Samuels, Babyface and Diane Warren.

During a recent interview with SOUNDS magazine, Sykes confessed that he can't wait for his fans to hear his debut solo album because it's so eclectic and fresh:

“It’s been called soulful pop, but I think you can expect quite a varied album within that genre. There’s some really light-hearted, funky and playful moments, and then there’s some more deep, pouring-my-heart-out moments."

"I think everyone’s going to have a different favourite song off the album. I really tested myself vocally, because I think for the first time I was able to go, ‘Cool, I’m going to try and do this.’ So I’ve ended up with quite an experimentally-vocal album that I’m incredibly proud of.”
