Nathan Sykes has told fans to expect big news relating to a US TV show.

The singer took to Twitter on Monday (December 14) to inform his followers about some impending news.

He suggested that it relates to a performance or appearance on a major American television programme.

Sykes wrote: "Guys just found out I've gotta wait one more day until I can make the announcement.

"But here's a hint...It's a US tv show."

The Brit has enjoyed huge success since going solo following the split of The Wanted in 2014.

He is expected to release his debut album next year.

The singer and musician recently teased fans by saying he had just finished a "great" new song.
