Nathan Sykes reveals the one situation that makes him 'really shy'

'Over and Over Again' hitmaker Nathan Sykes has revealed that he feels as though he 'can't win' when it comes to hearing his own music when he's out in public because people will judge him however he chooses to react.

During a new interview with Billboard, the solo sensation explained that it makes him nervous when he hears his own songs come on in a nightclub because he's never sure whether to acknowledge it or just ignore it:

“I get really shy when I hear [my music] in a club or something like that, because everyone turns around and starts looking at you. Because you don’t know! Do you live it up and be like, ‘Yeah this is my song!’ our do you go really shy and go, ‘Oh yeah, that’s me’."

Sykes, who will head out on tour soon in support of girl group Little Mix, added: “Because the people who want to like you would be like, ‘Oh that’s really cool that he dances to his own song!’ but the people who don’t want to like you are like, ‘Look at that idiot, dancing to his own song! You can’t win."
