Nathan Sykes says Ariana Grande romance 'feels like forever ago'

Singer Nathan Sykes has revealed that asking Ariana Grande to record vocals on a reworked version of 'Over and Over Again' wasn't at all awkward because they gave their friendship time and space to heal after they ended their romantic bond in 2014.

During an interview with ET, the heartthrob admitted that enough time has passed that they can be amicable and comfortable in each other's company now:

"(I've) experienced so much life experience in those years (since dating Ariana that) it does feel like forever ago. It's not weird to me at all. I think the most important thing for me is that she's an incredible vocalist and I really think she brings something great to the song."

He added to ET: "I think it's only as awkward as everyone else makes it. I think it's a very easy storyline for everyone in the media world. I think as soon as everyone found out we were doing this, it was like, 'Headlines for days! Thank you so much, Nathan and Ariana, that is so kind of you!'."
