Nathan Sykes says former bandmates from The Wanted are so supportive

Singer-songwriter Nathan Sykes recently unveiled his debut solo album, Unfinished Business, and revealed that some of his former bandmates from The Wanted have been incredibly supportive of this new venture.

During a chat with Britain's The Sun newspaper this week, the heartthrob admitted that he had a great message from Tom Parker and is still in touch with Jay McGuiness, who is currently starring in Big the Musical:

“But Tom sent a very nice tweet at the start of the week wishing me good luck for the album which is really sweet. I really like Tom. Tom’s a lovely, lovely guy. And Jay is going into Big the Musical, he’s going to be amazing. So I’m very proud of them and I think it’s nice when we support each other.”

He also opened up about the track "Famous" and confessed that it's a very personal song: "It was written not too long after the band decided to take a break, and it’s written about someone who actually stopped talking to me when the band did take a break, but I was like, ‘They’ll call me when I’m famous.’ It might have been just how it worked out but it certainly felt like they were very interested in the bigger side of things.”
