London band GLASS aka vocalist Jessica Winter and instrumentalist Scott Rimington will release their new single ‘Vulnerable’, an essential after-dark anthem with dramatic hooks and a lustrous aesthetic, produced by Dan Grech whose credits include Lana Del Rey and Halsey among others.

Complementing Vulnerable is a far-eastern themed music video. Directed by lead singer Jessica Winter alongside London film company Mint & Lime Films, the video blends totalitarian aesthetics – inspired by George Orwell’s dystopian novel, 1984 – with a Japanese and North Korean karaoke style video.

Striking a personal chord with the band, it was Jessica’s own fascination with obscure far eastern pop culture and propaganda films that led to this painstakingly detailed, authentic and kitsch karaoke lyric video.

Released on the recently launched London label & management company Supernatural Recordings this February, Vulnerable comes hard on the heels of a busy 2016 that has seen the band work with everyone from Formation, Fat White Family, and SWEAT, and support the likes of Strong Asian Mothers and Screaming Peaches.

In the short-time since releasing their debut track ‘What It Is To Believe’ in 2015, GLASS have picked up support from Notion, Clash, and Noisy, landed a #2 spot on BBC Radio 1’s Best of BBC Introducing Playlist, and gained support from Huw Stephens - and 2017 is set to be a defining year for the band.

GLASS release Vulnerable 3rd February and will headline the Camden Assembly March 9th.
