Neon Jungle's Asami Zdrenka has opened up on her love of One Direction.

The singer has met the group since becoming famous and has been linked with Harry Styles.

However, the Brit told heat magazine that she liked the group so much that she used wait outside hotels for the boyband to appear.

Zdrenka said: "I met them before Neon Jungle as a fangirl when I used to wait outside places. Then I met them when I was in Neon Jungle and told them I used to wait outside places.

"I got so nervous but I was trying to act really, really cool. They took it really well though. I told them I used to sing to their posters and they were fine with it."

The singer meanwhile also denied that she is dating Union J's George Shelley after tabloid gossip suggested love. She said:

"We’re just really good friends, we went out for his birthday. There were some pictures and people thought there was a lot more going on than there was."
