Jodie Foster to Direct and Rosemarie DeWitt to Star in Black Mirror Season Four Episode

  • Jodie Foster will direct and Rosemarie DeWitt will star in an episode of the fourth season of the critically acclaimed anthology series, Black Mirror, slated to begin production later this year and premiere exclusively worldwide on Netflix in 2017.
  • Netflix greenlit twelve episodes of the critically acclaimed and award winning anthology series last year, commissioning House of Tomorrow to produce as a Netflix original series. • This announcement comes in advance of the anticipated third season of the series, which premieres globally only on Netflix on October 21st.
  • Created and written by Brooker, Black Mirror taps into our collective unease with the modern world and each stand-alone episode is a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia. She recently wrapped production on the indie-thriller Sweet Virginia, directed by Jamie Dagg and also starred in Amazon’s period drama pilot The Last Tycoon. She was recently seen in Gil Kenan’s remake of Poltergeist and Jason Reitman’s Men, Women and Children.
