Nick Jonas: 'My brothers support my solo career'

'Jealous' superstar Nick Jonas has revealed that his two brothers, who he released music with under the name Jonas Brothers for years, are happy with his progress as a solo artist and 'love' his new material.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the heartthrob admitted that both Joe and Kevin are really enthusiastic about his solo efforts and it's reassuring to know that his brothers are fully behind him:

"They both really love the song and were supportive on Twitter and stuff, which felt great."

"I played them some more of the [album] now, and they really love it. It feels good. I think we were a band for a long time, so there always is going to be a sensitivity there that I feel, but I'm thrilled to have brothers that support me and I support them in their solo ventures."

Earlier this summer, Jonas confessed that working on a solo album was daunting, but incredibly exciting: "The process of recording it and writing it was really freeing. It kind of opened me up creatively, whether it was collaborating with people who were pushing me and making me better or tapping into a sort of emotional side on the television show that I’m doing. It was a lot of elements that played into me digging deeper and making a record I’m really proud of."
