'Jealous' heartthrob Nick Jonas has been officially named as the Ambassador of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which is a five-year-old charity 'dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives'. 

The superstar will share his talent and time with the organisation and speaking about his new role in a statement, explained:

"I’m thrilled to partner with such a remarkable charitable organisation such as the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. It’s encouraging to see children continue to follow their dreams despite their struggles, which is something that is close to my heart."

Ryan Seacrest also spoke about Jonas' involvement, adding: "Nick has been an amazing supporter of our foundation and recently brought smiles to our friends at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where he shared his own story of resilience and how he copes with being a diabetic. Nick is an extremely talented artist, and it has been great to watch his rise to fame. But even more important, he is kind and has a generous spirit, which we know will inspire the thousands of children patients who participate in our programs around the country."

“I appreciate that Nick understands our mission so personally. I’m so grateful that he’s decided to take on this larger role with us, joining our efforts to expand our programs at children’s hospitals throughout the country.”
