Nick Jonas on relationship with his brothers: 'It could have been complicated'

'Jealous' hitmaker Nick Jonas has revealed that he is on fantastic terms with his former Jonas Brothers bandmates, Kevin and Joe, because they dealt with issues in a very constructive way when they split.

During a recent interview with Australia's Daily Telegraph, the star was asked about the dynamic between himself and his brothers now that they're no longer a musical trio and he admitted that their openness and honesty means they can all move forward and be supportive of each other:

"The important thing for us was to close that chapter together as a band and still be a family. We could have reached a point where it would have been complicated at the dinner table, and we didn’t want that. It was the right call for us to make because now everyone is happy pursing their own goals. We’re all about having our own lives within our world together."

He went onto talk about the challenge he's going through now of finding his own identity as a solo star and added: "I think what’s been interesting is the education of who I am [now], as opposed to my first introduction. Obviously the 14-year-old you is very different to the person you become in your twenties."
