Nick Jonas on 'Scream Queens' involvement: 'I've been blown away by the experience'

Singer and actor Nick Jonas will appear in Ryan Murphy's new show 'Scream Queens' and he has opened up about what attracted him to the role.

He will play a preppy frat boy named Boone in Fox’s darkly hilarious new series, which comes from 'Glee' creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and told Entertainment Weekly that he wanted to get involved because the character is unlike any he has portrayed before:

"I was drawn to him, because the idea about his character, at face value is one thing, but you find out later that there’s something else going on. It’s going to keep people on their toes. I can’t tell you much, but it’s full of surprises."

When asked what it was like to work with Murphy, he added: "Pretty incredible. He’s an incredible talent, a man with a lot of vision and care for what he does. When he first approached me about the project I was blown away at getting the chance to work with him. When I actually saw him in his working environment… well you can see why he’s as successful as he’s been."
