Nick Jonas on debut album's title: 'I'm so obsessed with myself'

'Chains' hitmaker Nick Jonas has opened up about his self-titled debut solo album and explained that he wanted to simply call it 'Nick Jonas' because it's a step in a new individual direction.

When asked about his debut solo album's "lazy" title by BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, the heartthrob joked that naming the record after himself seemed like a fantastic idea: "Um no, no, it's very important I call it this; it's a redefining in my life... and maybe I couldn't think of a better title... I'm so obsessed with myself!"

Referring to his hit single 'Jealous', the star confessed that he loves that song and can't get bored of it: "I felt the same way when I wrote it! I was like, 'Oh, I'm loving this!' and then I thought by the time I release it I would hate it, because it feels like one of those songs that could become annoying. And to some who are listening are probably like, 'It is annoying!' but to me, I still enjoy it."
