Nick Jonas on 'Scream Queens' character: 'He's a little shy and fearful'

Heartthrob Nick Jonas has opened up about the character he plays on Ryan Murphy's forthcoming new series, 'Scream Queens'.

In a new video interview, the 'Chains' sensation explains that he plays the role of Boone and he's proud to be involved in Murphy's new project because he is such a well-respected creator and writer.

Jonas explains: "It's about young people in their lives and kind of exposing some of the evil within sororities and fraternities. It's filmed with a really specific tone and with what I think is pretty brilliant writing. I think the thing that I was most drawn to about this show was the description of the character I was given - being put in a different light and just being able to have some fun. I think we see him as a more fearful, shy person because he's got a lot of love he wants to give."

Jonas goes onto confess that playing up to his character's insecurities was challenging and interesting, and he can't wait for fans to see the programme. 'Scream Queens' also stars songstress Ariana Grande, 'Glee' beauty Lea Michele, 'American Horror Story' actress Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, and Keke Palmer.
