Nick Jonas on new single 'Levels': 'It will really surprise people'

Singer Nick Jonas has opened up about his forthcoming new single 'Levels' and revealed what he hopes to achieve with the release of the track.

Speaking to MTV News this week, the heartthrob confessed that he just wants to make people dance with the offering, which he will perform live for the first time at the upcoming MTV VMAs pre-show: "I think that the thing that will surprise people the most about the song is the dance element to it."

"With ’Jealous’ and even ’Chains’ there was an ability to dance to them, but it was very specific. For this one I feel like it’s a no-brainer dance, get up and have a good time jam." The superstar went onto add that he is "anxiously awaiting the release” of 'Levels', and promised fans that it will show off his “fun, energetic side".

Jonas' recent solo effort 'Jealous' was recently certified Gold in the UK, which means that it has now sold over 400,000 copies in the country. To be bumped up to Platinum status, the anthemic offering will need to shift a total of 600,000 copies.
