Nick Jonas opens up about Miss America music curator position

Singer Nick Jonas was recently confirmed to curate the music for the forthcoming Miss America pageant and he has now opened up about the exciting role.

During a new interview with On Air with Ryan, the 'Chains' sensation explained that he will definitely choose popular songs because it'll make the event more enjoyable if the music used is easily recognisable: “It’s better to do songs that are current, that are kind of in people’s brains right now."

He continued: "And kind of spread it out a couple of genres so that anybody that’s watching can connect to it and enjoy. It’ll definitely be a bunch of songs people know.”

The 95th edition of the Miss America pageant is set to take place on September 13 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on September 13 and will be broadcast on ABC in the USA.
