Nick Jonas expects to release new album in early 2016

Nick Jonas says his next solo record should land next year.

The singer released his self-titled debut album in 2014, but he recently unveiled the fresh track 'Levels'.

Speaking to Billboard at the weekend, the US star confirmed that his second record should be released before the spring.

Jonas revealed: "'Levels' is the first single off the new record, that will come out at the beginning of next year. I’m already close to being finished with it.

"But I think about, you know, continuing to stay creative and seeing where I’m led artistically. A lot’s changed in my life over the past year, and I’ve had a lot to write about. I’m thrilled to put this record out."

The singer meanwhile recently said that his former Jonas Brothers bandmates Kevin and Joe are supportive of his solo career.
