'Jealous' heartthrob Nick Jonas has revealed that he cant wait to unveil his new album, entitled 'Last Year Was Complicated', because it shows off a new side to him. 

During a new interview with MTV, the sensation explained that the album shows off a more vulnerable side that fans might not have seen before:

"I'm really excited. It's definitely my most personal release yet and more than anything I think it's been great to be able to get vulnerable in my music and open up and see that it's been connecting in a great way."

When asked to describe his new sound, Jonas added that he has embraced his passion for R&B this time around:

"I think it's about acknowledging and embracing some of my soul and R'n'B influences and making that the focus and the progression of my music as a whole, and just experimenting. Working with people that challenge me and push me in a new direction and have some fun with it."

He then talked about his upcoming Future Now tour with Demi Lovato and confessed that he will definitely play some pranks on Lovato while they're on the road: "We like to give each other a little bit of sh*t from time to time, so it's fun. I'll get my revenge on her eventually, we have a whole summer to work that out."
