Terry Hart is a Teeside filmaker filming his first short film "Man of the house" filming in and around the north east of england this week, Redcar Beachone of the locations used may be familiar as it was used for the beach scenes in Attonement, The film is in Industrial social Realism genre.

The film focuses on a recently separated mother Sue (Rosie Stancliffe, Vera, In Waiting) and her teenage son Darryl (Newcomer Ryan Nolan), Boyfriend Gary (Dylan Barnes, Scintilla, The Herd) is about to move in when Ryan suspects he is having an affair, a climatic ending with a twist concludes this first production for Heart Films, the film has touches of Shane Meadows and Ken Loach

Produced by Louise Forrest and Qusim Baig the film will hit the festivals later in the year.
