The rock band’s frontman was found dead at his home last Thursday morning (July 20). A coroner confirmed that he died by hanging. He was 41. Nine of the band’s albums are on track to enter the Top 100 on today’s Official Chart Update, seven of which are inside the Top 40. Their 2001 debut Hybrid Theory places the highest midweek at Number 3, followed by their most recent album One More Light – released in May - at 5. 2003’s Meteora, the group’s first UK Number 1 – is at Number 7. Linkin Park’s 2007 album Minutes To Midnight – also a former chart-topper – is at 12, followed by their 2004 collaborative album with Jay-Z, Collision Course (30), 2010’s A Thousand Suns (37) and 2012’s Living Things (40). Outside the Top 40 are their 2002 album Reanimation (69) and 2014’s The Hunting Party (77). On the singles front, Linkin Park's In The End – their first UK Top 10 back in 2001 – are on course to re-enter at Number 9. A further two entries for the band also appear in today's mid-week Top 40 update: 2003’s Numb is at Number 13, while Numb/Encore, the band's collaboration with Jay-Z released in 2004 sits at Number 29. Two more albums are on track to land inside this week’s Top 10: Dizzee Rascal’s sixth record Raskit is at 8, and US rapper Tyler, The Creator is at 10 with Flower Boy. Further down, British rockers Marillion open at Number 20 with Misplaced Childhood, rapper Meek Mill is at 23 with his third album Wins & Losses, The Dunkirk movie soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is new at 36 midweek, and Ritual by heavy metal band In This Moment is currently at 39. Official Singles Chart Update: Despacito is on Course To Reclaim The Top Spot Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber are set to reclaim the top spot on the Official Singles Chart this week for a third stint at the top. Despacito leads today's Official Chart Update and is eyeing up its tenth non-consecutive week at Number 1. The last time an artist had a track be Number 1 on three separate occasions? You guessed it - Justin Bieber. What Do You Mean enjoyed three different stretches at the peak of the Official Singles Chart over September and October 2015. Last week's Number 1, Wild Thoughts by DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, slips to Number 2, while another huge collaboration, Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Katy Perry and Big Sean's Feels is up one place to Number 3. Little Mix's Powercompletes the Top 5 today, up three to a potential new peak (5). New Entries and High Climbers Subeme La Radio, Enrique Iglesias' latest track featuring Sean Paul and X Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry, is coasting towards a Top 20 finish at Number 16, and Dua Lipa's New Rules continues to leap up the chart, racing 13 slots to Number 24 today.
