Can Camila Cabello take Havana all the way to UK No. 1?

Is Camila Cabello on the verge of her very first UK na-na-Number 1?

The Cuban-born singer’s  latest single Havana has climbed the Official Singles Chart over the last eight weeks, rising to Number 4 on last Friday's rundown. Havana currently sits at Number 2 on today's Official Chart Update, just 1,500 behind Sam Smith's Too Good at Goodbyes, which last Friday became his longest ever chart topper.

Havana became Camila's first Top 10 hit as a soloist three weeks ago, although she enjoyed a further two during her time as a member of Fifth Harmony. The band's biggest hit Work From Home, also peaked at Number 2.

Rounding out today's Top 5 are Post Malone and 21 Savage's Rockstar, which is still a huge contender at Number 3, P!nk's What About Us rebounds two to 4, and CNCO & Little Mix hold at their peak position with Reggaeton Lento at 5.

Chart highlights

Three more songs are expected to climb up this week's Top 10, including Avicii and Rita Ora's Lonely Together, a two-place riser to Number 6 in today's sales flash. J Balvin and Willy William's Mi Gente has propelled eight spots to 8 following the release of a remix of the track featuring Beyoncé, and rising star Stefflon Don's Hurtin' Me with French Montana could become her highest charting hit, jumping five to Number 9.

Craig David's Heartline is on the cusp of becoming his 18th UK Top 20 hit, rocketing 10 places to Number 18, while Paloma Faith is also climbing with Crybaby, up 15 spots to Number 21.

Leaping 12 slots on today's update to Number 22 is Ed Sheeran's Perfect - a former Top 5 hit recently promoted to single status - just ahead of Mabel's Finders Keepers featuring Kojo Funds which vaults six to Number 23.

Finally, Bodak Yellow, the current Number 1 single in America by Cardi B, makes gains on this side of the Atlantic, so far up 11 placings to Number 26.
