Harry Styles continues legal action against paparazzi

One Direction star Harry Styles has continued his legal battle against the paparazzi.

The singer first launched action against unnamed photographers back in December after complaining of intrusion.

They were successfully ordered to stop hanging around outside of his residence, pursuing him in moving vehicles and placing him under tabloid surveillance.

The order ran until January 13 and Styles' counsel David Sherborne has now confirmed that it has been successful.

However, the singer is continuing the order against four other photographers, one of whom is contesting the allegations.

The order will continue until the case reconvenes on March 10 to decide how to progress further.

Sherborne initially allayed fans' fears by stating that the order was against photographers only, not fans. He said:

"Mr Styles is not trying to prevent fans approaching him in the street and taking photos. He remains happy to do that, as he always has. Rather, it is the method or tactics which have been used by a certain type of photographer.''
