One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne has begged fans to stop swarming outside of his house in hopes that they might be able to catch a glimpse of him while he's enjoying some down time. 

Writing on his official Twitter page this evening (January 14), the 'Story Of My Life' superstar explained that just because Directioners know which house is his doesn't mean they have earned the right to set up camp outside and wait for him to emerge:

"I know my friends have tweeted a lot of pictures of my house the past few days but can people please stop coming and waiting outside."

He added that his privacy should be respected: "I'd just like to be able to walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends, not feel bad for not wanting to take a picture. Sorry if I've been rude to anyone but I've come to realise if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday."
