Simon Cowell has revealed that One Direction are due to have discussions about having their own TV show.

The lads featured in their first film This Is Us last year and its success has led many to speculate that a television programme could be in the offing.

Music mogul Cowell has now confirmed that plans are afoot to look into a One Direction show.

He told Bang Showbiz at the launch of this year's Britain's Got Talent auditions in London:

"I think there's something in the works, a possible TV show...we're going to talk about that in the next couple of weeks. They're always busy these guys."

Cowell also confirmed that One Direction will unleash their fourth album in four years in 2014.

He said: "The important thing is they've got a new album out this year."
