Louis Tomlinson and his family are "delighted" after his mum had twins.

A rep for the One Direction man confirmed that the singer's 40-year-old mother Johanna successfully gave birth to twins.

They said: "Daniel and Johanna are pleased to welcome twins - a boy Ernest Rupert Atholl Deakin and a girl Doris Poppet Deakin. Daniel and Johanna would like to thank Barnsley hospital and their special care unit. All the family are delighted."

Johanna is said to have been with the childrens' father Daniel Deakin for two years after splitting from Mark Tomlinson in 2010.

Louis Tomlinson is reported to have four half-sisters and is apparently overjoyed at the baby news.
