One Direction star Niall Horan has sprayed his fans with love after wishing them a happy Valentine's Day.

As most of the world celebrates all things romance today (February 14), the Irishman took to Twitter to wish his fans well.

Horan tweeted: "Happy valentines day my loves! Love you all ! Have fun! xxxx."

The singer meanwhile recently showed off a new haircut on Instagram as he tries out a new style.

He has smartened up ahead of One Direction's upcoming Where We Are world tour, which opens in April.

The band's first date will take place in Colombia on April 25, with dates in Europe and North America due later in the year.
