One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan has revealed that he isn't in a rush to settle down because he wants to make sure the girl he falls in love with really is 'the one'. 

During a new interview, the lads all gave their opinions on dating and romance, and Horan explained that it's important not to settle and to wait for the right partner to come along: "Being single doesn’t mean that you’re weak, it means you’re strong enough to wait for what you deserve."

Member Louis Tomlinson, who's currently dating student Eleanor Calder, added: "It’s hard to keep on top of a relationship, but if you want it enough you make it work. It’s important to have that one person I can confide in... We trust each other completely.”

Singer Zayn Malik, who is engaged to Little Mix beauty Perrie Edwards, also spoke out about long distance relationships and confessed that while it's such a hard thing to do, it's made completely worthwhile by the time he eventually spends with his fiancée:

"My mum used to say that absence makes the heart grow fonder and it definitely does. If you don’t get to see your girlfriend 24/7, when you do get to see her you really make the most of it."
