One Direction win Global Success Award

British boyband One Direction enjoyed BRITs success earlier this evening by winning the coveted Global Success award.

The lads were presented with the trophy by supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley although member Harry Styles was notably missing from the line up as the rest of the heartthrobs took the stage to collect their prize.

Member Liam Payne took the microphone and started the acceptance speech, asking the audience where Harry Styles was then getting on with their list of collective thanks: "Has anyone seen the curly-headed lad? I want to say thank you to the staff, and as this is an international award - our international team... the label... management. And we’re thanking the fans. We’re straight up thanking the fans. I don’t know where you are Harry!"

At that moment, Styles came running onto the podium and laughed, admitting he was "having a wee" and that the toilets "were ages away". He concluded by saying "a massive thank you to all of our incredible fans, thank you so much."

'Oh Harry' is now in the top 10 trending topics list on social networking site Twitter.
