Excitable One Direction fans told to behave at Louis Tomlinson football match

One Direction fans were told off for being too excitable at Louis Tomlinson's charity football match last night (February 26).

The singer took to the pitch at the Keepmoat Stadium as he turned out for the first time for Doncaster Rovers Reserves against Rotherham Reserves.

He was there to raise money for children's hospice Bluebell Wood and over 5,000 fans attended.

However, the Mirror reports that the stadium announcer had to tell off the assembled masses after they tried to get as close as they could to their idol.

He said: "You won't see Louis play unless you return to your seats."

Tomlinson came on as a 65th minute substitute and played at right-back. However, the game ended 0-0.

The singer was originally due to play for his local team's reserves side last year, but he pulled out due to an injury sustained at a charity match in Scotland.
