Niall Horan on upcoming One Direction tour: "Holy sh*t, so many guitars!"

Niall Horan has expressed his excitement at the music direction of One Direction's upcoming tour.

The British-Irish quintet are due to head out on their first ever headline stadium jaunt from April.

They will scour the globe on the Where We Are tour, taking in the likes of South America, North America and Europe.

Speaking on Twitter, singer Niall Horan - who plays rhythm guitar live - stated that the show is set to be a grand musical affair, saying:

"Just been chatting to @jonshonekeys about music for the tour! Holy sh*t I cannot wait! So many guitars!"

The lads previously revealed that the levels of pyro and special effects on the tour will reach a new level, with Liam Payne saying:

"We have Coldplay and Rudimental's pyro guy so we're gonna have some amazing fireworks. It's gonna be like bonfire night all over again."
