Louis Tomlinson donates worn Doncaster Rovers shirt to charity auction

Louis Tomlinson has given the shirt he wore whilst playing recently for Doncaster Rovers Reserves to a charity auction.

The singer turned out for his local team's B-side at the end of February for the first time in order to raise money for children's hospice Bluebell Wood.

It has now been revealed that the One Direction man has given the shirt he wore during the match - which ended 0-0 - to the Ayrshire Hospice.

They have included the signed piece in a large online auction that is due to open on May 22.

Event organiser Janice McKellar said: “I’m sure this signed shirt will be perfect for any one of the 4,000 young ladies who turned out to watch Louis’ debut in the Doncaster v Rotherham match on Wednesday February 27. Or indeed, any one of his hundreds of thousands of Scottish fans!

“It’s a fantastic addition to our auction catalogue and we are very hopeful it will attract a huge amount of interest when the auction goes live on Thursday, May 22”.
