One Direction will sell a limited edition vinyl for this year's Record Store Day.

The British-Irish boyband will release a 7" picture disc version of their single 'Midnight Memories' for the event.

The song will be backed up by a live version of their tune 'Rock Me', with the group seen on the vinyl's cover going glam rock.

This year's Record Store Day, which will see a host of acts release exclusive products via independent music shops, is due to be held on April 19 in the UK and Ireland.

One Direction meanwhile will head out on their worldwide Where We Are tour next month.

The first date on the headline stadium run will take place in Colombia on April 25.
