James Corden believes One Direction are better equipped at dealing with fame and its pressures than Justin Bieber.

The two acts are of similar ages, but Bieber's recent career has been fraught with misbehaviour and seemingly arrogant antics.

One Direction, however, seem to cut a more down-to-earth aura and speaking to The Sun, former BRITs host James Corden agreed.

He said: "I can't imagine what the world is like for [One Direction]. But I'll tell you what, you've only got to look over the water at a certain Mr Justin Bieber to realise quite how together they are.

"They're still unbelievably young. They're going to do stuff and they're going to make mistakes in the same way that anyone else does. What do you expect? But it's not if you make mistakes, it's how you respond to them. Whenever they make mistakes they've always said, 'I'm really sorry about that, I won't do it again'. What you don't want is people going, 'Screw you. I'm the man around here'. That's what Bieber seems to do."
