One Direction has been spotted filming what looks like a video on a pier in England.

The British-Irish boyband were seen on the Clevedon Pier in Somerset as they filmed video footage.

The likes of Harry Styles and Liam Payne were pictured waving to fans, who have been waiting nearby the pier in hope of a glimpse of their idols.

One Direction's last video came in the shape of their 'Midnight Memories' single clip.

That video saw the lads top the Tower Bridge in London and race down the River Thames.

The group meanwhile are due to head out on their Where We Are world stadium tour next month.

Their first date is set to take place in Colombia on April 25.
