Niall Horan confirms One Direction video shoot: "It was very cold"

One Direction star Niall Horan has confirmed speculation that the group have been filming their next music video.

The band were recently spotted on Clevedon Pier in Somerset as they filmed video footage.

It was unclear what the shoot was for, but Niall Horan has now taken to Twitter to confirm that it was for a music video.

He wrote: "Thank you everyone on the crew for today's video shoot! It was very cold.very much appreciate your time and effort! @benwinston @Fulwell73."

Director Ben Winston added: "Just wrapped on the new @onedirection video. Great day!Now rushing to get home in time for our new Mcintyre chat show 10.35pm bbc1!Tune in!!"

One Direction's last video came in the shape of their 'Midnight Memories' single clip.

That video, directed also by Ben Winston, saw the lads top the Tower Bridge in London and race down the River Thames.
