The One Direction lads are currently on tour in South America and revealed that while they absolutely love the opportunities they're given, they're often left feeling a little disappointed by the fact that they can't look around the cities they perform in.

Member Niall Horan took to his official Twitter page this afternoon (May 7) and told his followers that being in Rio de Janeiro is amazing, but he's sad to think he won't have time to explore the area while he's there:

"Would love to have a look around rio! Doubt it will happen to be fair haha! #tourlife."

Heartthrob Liam Payne echoed the sentiment by tweeting his excitement to be in the city, but recently told fans that he feels more like a traveller than a pop star because he's always in different places for such short amounts of time: "My real job is explorer all the rest of the stuff just part-time keeping busy."

'You & I' singer Louis Tomlinson, meanwhile, recently admitted that he is enjoying every minute of the run of dates: "Loving the tour so far!!"
