More tickets for two upcoming One Direction gigs are due to go on sale.

The band are bringing their Where We Are world stadium tour to the UK in May and June and the gigs been selling well.

However, Ticketmaster have confirmed that extra briefs for shows in London and Manchester will go on sale on Friday (May 9).

They tweeted today (May 7): "New @onedirection tickets available in London and Manchester. Tickets on sale Friday, follow us and see the sales link first!"

The quintet will play Manchester's Etihad Stadium on May 30, 31 and June 1 and London's Wembley Stadium on June 6, 7 and 8.

One Direction meanwhile are currently in South America on the first leg of their tour.

Their first European date is scheduled for Ireland's Croke Park in Dublin on May 23.
