One Direction's Niall Horan excited for Irish homecoming: 'Next stop my home show, can't believe it!'

Heartthrob Niall Horan, of One Direction fame, has revealed that he can't wait for his boyband's Irish leg of their Where We Are tour because it'll be such a sweet homecoming for him.

The lads just finished their South American jaunt and their next date is due to take place on May 23 at Dublin's Croke Park, which isn't too far from where Horan is from. Writing on his official Twitter page this evening (May 12), the 'Story Of My Life' superstar explained that it's very exciting for him:

"I would like to say thank you to all the South American fans! We honestly had a fantastic time down there! Some beautiful countries. Love you lots! Great way to start the 'where we are' tour! Next stop my home show! Can't believe I'm saying this! 'Croke park' baby!"

Earlier today, meanwhile, it was revealed that Morgan Spurlock, who directed the boys' debut documentary film 'This Is Us', is planning to make a follow-up movie and admitted that Ben Winston was with One Direction in South America working on possible footage for it:

"Yes, there will be a follow-up to 'This Is Us'. At this moment Ben Winston is with the band on their world tour filming what happens."
