One Direction's Liam Payne praises 5SOS: 'I'm jealous of them'

Liam Payne, of One Direction fame, has revealed that Australia's 5 Seconds Of Summer are a fantastic bunch of lads and he's really happy that they're enjoying such international success at the moment.

Speaking to Britain's Sunday Telegraph newspaper, the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrob explained that he's impressed by their skill level as musicians and wishes that he had learned to play instruments years ago like they did:

"They are f***ing great musicians. I am a bit jealous of them. I am working on learning to play now but I wish I had put the time in like they did when they were kids. They are so massive right now."

He went onto add that 5SOS, who have supported One Direction on tour in the past, are incredibly deserving of all the fame they are currently receiving: "It's huge getting to play stadiums at their age. It couldn't happen to a nicer band."

'She Looks So Perfect' sensation Ashton Irwin recently opened up about the fame his band has found over the past year and described it as a dream come true: "How me and the boys got to this point amazes me, thanks for giving us the chance to play music around the world. I dreamt about it ever since I was a kid, and will be forever grateful for everything."
