Harry Styles sets up new company without One Direction band mates

Harry Styles has founded a new, solo company without the rest of One Direction.

HSA Publishing Limited is a private limited company where Harry Styles and Irish accountant Alan McEvoy are the sole directors.

The ‘You & I’ heartthrob already has a 20% share in 1D Media Limited alongside his One Direction band mates - Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – where all five stars are directors.

As news of the formation of Styles’ lone company emerged this morning a One Direction representative has already issued a statement denying that HSA Publishing Limited is in any way indicative of Harry planning to leave the group.

A One Direction spokesman told the Mirror Online: “Harry has no current plans to release any solo material - his focus is on writing and recording the new One Direction album, and then the world tour which continues in 2015.”

The statement continued: “The band are currently recording their fourth album. Their finances are of course private, but each of them are setting up their own companies as they all write separately for One Direction as well as together.”

This is not the first time a member of One Direction has branched out with solo business venture as Lois Tomlinson became a co-owner of League One football club Doncaster Rovers earlier this year.
