One Direction waxwork models get summer makeover

One Direction's Madame Tussauds waxwork models have been given a bit of a makeover.

The lads were immortalised in model form last year in the UK before going on show around the world.

The company have now confirmed that the waxworks have had their clothes changed in order to reflect their recent tours.

Louis Tomlinson is seen with a Stone Roses t-shirt on, whilst Liam Payne wears a red checked shirt.

Matthew Clarkson, Madame Tussauds London Marketing Manager, commented:

"We never doubted that One Direction would be a huge hit here at Madame Tussauds London, and as the band goes from strength to strength, they continue to be firm favourites with our guests.

"They arrived in April last year dressed in clothing donated by the group, but we want to make sure the figures reflect the boys’ latest, more summery style. Die hard fans will recognise these new outfits which are inspired by their recent 'This Is Us' tour look."
