Niall Horan on One Direction future: 'We are going to go as long as we can'

Niall Horan has reassured One Direction fans about the future of the group.

The popular boyband regularly have rumours swirling around them and split gossip intensified recently after apparent quotes from Simon Cowell.

The label boss reportedly said that he thinks the group would finish sooner rather than later, with all members set to go solo.

However, Niall Horan told the Irish Sun that there are no plans for the band to split.

The singer said: "He [Simon] was clearly misquoted or something. We are going to go as long as we can [and] as long as people want us, we’ll be here.”

When asked what he would do when the band eventually stops, Horan added:

"I don’t want to think about that. I don’t need to think about…I’m having a great time – we’re all still having a great time."
