One Direction's new album goes No.1 in 67 countries

One Direction have gone No.1 in nearly seventy countries across the world.

The band confirmed on Monday (September 8) plans to release their fourth album 'FOUR' on November 17.

It was then made available to pre-order and it has been revealed that the collection has gone to No.1 on iTunes lists in 67 countries.

This includes main markets such as the UK, the US and Australia, as well as countries such as Greece and Brazil.

After the album news was revealed, fans were also given the chance to download the new song 'Fireproof' for 24 hours only.

'FOUR' will act as the follow-up to One Direction's 2013 record 'Midnight Memories'.
