Tracklisting of new One Direction album confirmed as fake

A tracklisting of One Direction's new album has been confirmed as a fake.

The band confirmed on Monday (September 8) plans to release their fourth album 'FOUR' on November 17.

A 'leaked tracklisting' of the record soon found its way online and some fans were unsure if it was real or not.

It credited the likes of The 1975, Fall Out Boy and Ed Sheeran as co-writers on tracks like 'Fire' and 'If I Die'.

However, a rep for the boyband have confirmed that the listing is fake.

It has been revealed meanwhile that 'FOUR' has gone to No.1 on iTunes lists in 67 countries after it went up for pre-order.

After announcing the album, One Direction also put the new song 'Fireproof' up for a free download on their official website for 24 hours.
