Harry Styles named one of the 'most influential figures shaping Jewish life in Britain'

Harry Styles has featured on a Jewish power list - despite not actually being a Jew.

The One Direction man has landed at No.73 on the Jewish Chronicle's Power 100 list of people who are the "most influential figures shaping Jewish life in Britain".

However, despite the news, the singer isn't a member of the Jewish faith.

The Chronicle picked Styles because of "he seems very much at ease with a Jewish lifestyle". They said:

"He was pictured wearing a silver Star of David at the Teen Choice awards and makes regular references to Jewish life on Twitter, hangs out at kosher eateries and is not afraid to throw the odd Yiddish word or two into the conversation. Thanks to Styles, millions of British teens have become familiar with Purim, Pesach and shepping nachas."

The Jewish Chronicle’s top ten influential Jewish figures haven't been revealed yet, but the likes of Michael Gove (No.56) and Maureen Lipman (No.62) feature in the top 100.

One Direction's This Is Us movie director Ben Winston meanwhile earlier this year denied that One Direction were embracing Jewish culture.
