One Direction have confirmed the identity of their next single.

The boyband will release 'Steal My Girl' on October 12 as the next track from their forthcoming album 'FOUR'.

The song will be premiered on September 29 and its UK release will come with a Liam Payne remix.

'Steal My Girl' is available for pre-order now as the group follow up their free download 'Fireproof', which launched their new album campaign.

The tune was snapped up over one million times in a 24-hour window to become the most downloaded free song in history.

'FOUR' meanwhile will be released on November 17.

The record will follow-up One Direction's third album 'Midnight Memories', which was unleashed in 2013.
